Kim and Nic first approached me when they had a couple of new projects they were working on, and just a logo to work with. So to start, I developed the brand style by taking inspiration from a climate gradient heat map – this added a pop of colour but retained a professional feel.
Once we’d fleshed out the brand style, I used this to create several worksheets used in a co-design event they hosted. This then developed into a report of the findings from this event. The report was very text heavy, so the focus was on making the content as digestible as possible – making use of white space where possible and incorporating the brand colours sparingly to make navigation easier and to add interest.
